Jesus was born in a stable because there was no room at the inn for Him. Do we have room for Him in our own lives? If the innkeeper knew who was growing in Mary’s tummy, nearly ready to be born, and what He would do for the whole world, you can bet that innkeeper would have MADE room!

The Inn was full, and so are our lives. Our lives and schedules are so full of so much stuff that it can be hard to find time for Jesus. This is even true, if not especially true, during the Christmas season. We often only ever talk or think about the Birth of Jesus when we put the little baby Jesus in the manger of our nativity set. The Innkeeper would have made room if he knew who was knocking on his door. But we DO know who Jesus is and what He’s done for us! Let’s make room in our lives to celebrate and worship the King of Kings, the Savior of the world!

“No Room at the Inn” Bible Verses:

  • Revelation 19:16 | Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords.
  • Luke 2:1-7 | Jesus was born in a stable because there was no room at the inn.
  • Luke 2:12, 16 | Mary laid Him in a manger, a feeding trough for animals.
  • John 3:16 | Jesus came to save us . . . the greatest gift ever.
  • Matthew 7:7-8 | Make room in your heart and life for Jesus!

“No Room at the Inn” Time Questions:

What are some of the busy things that “fill up” your life and schedule?

What do you think the innkeeper would have done if he knew who was knocking on his door?

How can you make room for Jesus in your life?
