God doesn’t want us to just sit around and wait for something good to happen, He wants us to help make it happen!
There’s a hole in the sidewalk that Douglas always trips on while he’s on his way to school. A chunk of concrete came up out of the sidewalk and was just sitting in the grass waiting to be put back in. Every time Douglas would trip on this hole he would think, “When is someone going to fix this hole?!” And then it hit him, HE could fix the hole! There are many problems in the world, and it doesn’t do any good to just hope that they will be fixed. We should be a part of the solution. It’s a very good idea to pray for God to fix a problem that we see. But God loves to use his people to make the world a better place, so you may just be the answer to your own prayer! Let’s show initiative, and make good things happen!
