What would happen if everyone forgot everything we ever knew and we lost all our books and everything with information on it and we had to start from scratch? Would Christianity be lost forever? Atheists say that it would be lost but, as Christians, we believe that it would always make a comeback. How you answer this question says a lot about what you already believe, but it doesn’t do anything to PROVE what you already believe. Using this hypothetical (that is, made up) situation won’t work as an argument for what you believe because it’s just circular reasoning!

Bible Verses:

  • 1 Corinthians 8:6 | Our God is the one true God.
  • Matthew 24:35 | God’s Word will never pass away.
  • 2 Timothy 3:16 | Learn for yourself.
  • Deuteronomy 4:29 | If you seek Him, you will find Him.

Family Time Questions:

  • What would happen if all religions disappeared?
  • Does your answer to the last question prove or disprove the existence of God?
  • Why not?
  • What should you do if you hear an argument against your faith and you don’t have an answer right away?

Prayer:

Dear God, thank you for being the One True God. Please help me to follow you with all my heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
