Reading the Bible can be a challenge. How do you even start? The first step is simply to pick it up and read it! The Bible is God’s word, and whether you are a kid just learning to read or an adult with multiple PHDs, Scripture can bless you in ways you never imagined.
All Scripture is “God-breathed” which means that it’s all from God and it’s all important and useful and true. You could spend your whole life reading the Bible and still learn something new every time you pick it up! When we read God’s word it’s important that we don’t take things out of context or forget about the stuff that we don’t agree with. If the Bible says something that goes against what we believe, we’re the ones who are wrong, not the Bible. We need to adjust our lives to fit what Scripture says, not try to adjust what Scripture says to fit our lives. Pick up your Bible. Read it, learn it, live it!
