There are lots of reasons why we should forgive other people. For one thing, God tells us to! But it’s about more than just doing what we’re told. God wants us to forgive because it’s what’s best for us. We often hold grudges against other people because we feel like they deserve it, but we only hurt ourselves when we don’t forgive others!

- Romans 5:8 | God forgave us first.
- Colossians 3:13 | God tells us to forgive others.
- Luke 17:3-4 | And God tells us to keep on forgiving others, over and over.
- Hebrews 12:15 | Don’t let a root of bitterness grow in you!
