The Bible is great at getting us back on track and keeping us aligned with God’s will. We all drift away at times, but reading our Bibles helps us to come back to where we ought to be. And it’s so important to always be learning and growing in Christ because even a little bit of “wrongness” can have a really big impact on our lives and the lives of those around us.
It can be easy to feel like we’re “good enough.” We might recognize that we aren’t perfect, but still think that we’re pretty close, and that’s good enough. But it’s not good enough! We need to always be learning and growing and every day becoming more and more like what God created to be. And regularly reading our Bible can sure help with that! All Scripture is useful for correcting.
