God has a plan for each of us, and it may not be the same as the plan we have for ourselves, but it’s the BEST PLAN EVER! So we should put our trust in God, even if things don’t seem to be going our way, because God’s plan is best.
Everyone has their own plans for what they want to happen in their lives. We all have ideas and hopes and dreams. But, sometimes, our own plans can get in the way of the AMAZING plans that God has for us. If we always do things our own way, instead of submitting to God and doing things His way, then we’ll miss out on the incredible life that God has called us to. It can be really hard to trust God enough to give up your own plans and ideas and follow Him. But, the truth is, nothing that we could ever come up with ourselves can compare to what God has in store for us. God has a great plan for your life!
“Trusting God” Bible Verses:
- Jeremiah 29:11 | God has a great plan for you
- Proverbs 3:5 | Trust in the Lord with all your heart
- Romans 8:28 | God makes all things work together for our good
- Isaiah 26:3 | God keeps those who trust in Him at peace
“Trusting God” Family Time Questions:
- Why is it so hard to give up our own plans?
- Why is God’s plan always best?
- How can we know that trusting God is worth it?
Prayer:
Dear God, thank you for your awesome plan for my life. Help me to fully put my trust in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
