Good or bad, there are always consequences for our actions. If we do what is bad, bad will come of it. If we do what is good, good will come of it. Sometimes it seems like it doesn’t work that way, but in the end, it always does. There are some who feel like they can get away with doing wrong, but sin always ruins things. Every time. And if you feel like it’s not worth it to live God’s way because bad things still seem to happen to you, hang in there. If you believe in Jesus Christ, you will have eternal life and one day God will right every wrong and reward you for every good thing that you have done. Be warned! There are always consequences for sin. Be encouraged! There are always rewards for righteousness. Good or bad, there is always a harvest.

Bible Verses:

  • Galatians 6:7-8 – Reaping what we sow.
  • 2 Corinthians 9:6 – Sow little, reap little.
  • Proverbs 26:27 – what goes around comes around.
  • Romans 6:23 – Sin brings death.
  • Revelation 22:12 – Rewards for your actions.

Family Time Questions:

  • What does it mean to “reap what you sow”?
  • Why can’t you ever “get away” with sin?
  • Why might it sometimes seem like good actions do not lead to good results?
  • How can remembering eternal rewards affect our daily decisions?

Prayer:

“Dear God, help us to remember that everything we do has consequences. Give us the strength to face challenges and to keep doing good, trusting in Your promise of eternal rewards. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
