On Easter, we remember that Jesus didn’t just die for us, but that He also rose again on the third day! The Empty Tomb proves that Jesus is who said He is and that He really did do what He said He would do.
The fact that Jesus died for your sins is one of the most important things you could ever know. We deserve to be eternally separated from God because of our sin, but Jesus took the punishment we deserved when He died on the cross, and if you believe in Jesus as your savior, the penalty for your sin is paid and you can have eternal life. But anyone could make the claims that Jesus made. Anyone can say that they are the Son of God or that they will save you from your sins. But when Jesus rose again from the dead, He proved that what He said was true. He proved that He really can offer us eternal life because He literally conquered sin and death. Jesus is alive!
