There are many reasons why we can trust the Bible. One reason we can trust the Bible is because of the many testimonies of the people who have been richly blessed by it, including me! The Bible changed my life for the better, and that’s why I want to share it with you.
One of the things that has really solidified my faith in Christ and in the authority and divine inspiration of Scripture is how the Bible has changed my life. I know who I was before Jesus, and I know who I am now. Every day I can see that, when I live according to what I find in Scripture, things ALWAYS turn out better. I see the truth found in Scripture play out in my own life and in the lives around me. Our personal experiences might not mean much to people looking for “cold, hard facts”, but personal testimony can be really powerful and effective. That’s why it’s so important that we are willing to share our faith! You don’t have to be an “expert” to share what God has done in your life. Based on my own experience, I am convinced that you can trust the Bible.
Bible Verses:
- Romans 5:8 | Jesus died for everyone, even us sinners.
- Revelation 3:20 | God gives each person a choice to believe or not.
- 2 Corinthians 5:17 | I am changed and made new by Jesus.
- John 14:26 | The Holy Spirit helps me know the way to go.
- Philippians 2:10-11 | Someday, at the name of Jesus every knee will bow.
