The Bible is pretty clear that talking to God is really important, but why would God want to hear from us if He already knows what we’re going to say? It’s true that you can’t surprise God, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t have a relationship with Him. In fact, people were designed to have a relationship with God! We need Him. And just like you never get tired of hearing the “same old” stories from your friends and family, God will never get tired of hearing you, even though He knows what you’re going to say even before you do.
Bible Verses About Talking to God:
- 1 Thes 5:16-18 | God wants to hear from us all the time.
- James 5:13 | Pray if things go wrong AND if they go right.
- James 5:16 | Pray for each other.
- Acts 2:42 | Jesus’ disciples prayed too!
- 1 Peter 5:7 | Give God your worries because He loves you.
