If you believe in Jesus Christ, you have eternal life. Through faith in Jesus, you have been sanctified; you have been made holy. This means that you have been set apart for God as His possession, you’ve been cleaned, and you have been made perfect. But though through Christ’s one sacrifice you have been made perfect forever, you need His help to take hold of and enjoy that perfection here on earth. If you believe in Jesus, you are His forever. If you would like to really experience what that’s like on this side of heaven, it’s going to require you to live God’s way. And Jesus can absolutely help you with that! Sanctification comes through Christ alone.
