It’s important to be careful about what we believe. We should work hard to avoid being wrong. But part of being wise is recognizing that we are not perfect. If you are too sure of yourself and your “rightness”, you’re not only setting yourself up for disaster, but you’re also missing out on a whole lot of what God wants to teach you. If you’re not open to reason, you’re being unwise. It’s not about believing whatever you hear; it’s about hearing other viewpoints and recognizing that we don’t know everything. Wisdom from above is reasonable.
