We need the Armor of God to help protect us from the Devil's schemes. The way you live your life will help you to fight your spiritual battles.

Put on the Belt of Truth by being honest. Our integrity and trustworthiness help to strengthen the rest of our spiritual armor, the Armor of God.

Put on the Breastplate of Righteousness by doing what is right. Doing what God tells you to do is like wearing body armor in the spiritual battle that we're all in. Your righteousness cannot save you from the eternal consequences of your sin (only Jesus can do that for you) but it CAN help protect you from the earthly consequences of sin.

You can have your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the Gospel of peace by always being ready to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

The Armor of God isn't physical armor, it's spiritual. And the most important part of the Armor of God is the Helmet of Salvation. You need to be saved from your sins more than you need anything else in the whole world. You can put on the Helmet of Salvation by believing in Jesus Christ as your Savior.
