If you’ve ever felt that some people deserve mercy and some people don’t, you don’t understand what mercy is. To show mercy towards someone is to show them kindness, forgiveness, patience, or love, even when they don’t deserve it. God has shown us mercy in an incredible way by sending His Son Jesus to save us from our sins. Jesus didn’t die for you because you deserve it, He died for you because you could never deserve it, but He loves you anyway. That’s what real mercy looks like. And because God has shown us mercy, we should show mercy to others.
Bible Verses About Mercy:
- Psalm 25:6-7 | Mercy is NOT giving people the consequences they deserve.
- Ephesians 2:4-5 | God is merciful towards us.
- Micah 6:8 | Love mercy.
