The Bible says that the Church is the Bride of Christ. One day Jesus is coming back for us, and we will be united with Him forever in heaven. The Bible says that our actions, the righteous deeds of the saints, are like the wedding clothes for the Bride of the Lamb. Let’s do our part to live our lives in a way that honors God, and let’s help the Church to do the same. No one knows exactly when Jesus is coming back for us, so now is a great time to start getting ready for his return!
Bible Verses:
- Revelation 19:6-9 – The Bride of the Lamb
- Ephesians 5:25-27 – Jesus Loves His Bride
- John 14:2-3 – We Will Be With Him
- 1 Corinthians 13:12 – We See Him Face to Face
Family Time Questions:
- Who is the Bride of Christ?
- How can we get ourselves ready for Jesus’ return?
- What are some ways that we can help the church get ready?
- When will Jesus come back for us?
Prayer:
“Dear God, thank you for loving us like a good husband loves his bride. Please help us to honor you in how we live. We are so looking forward to your return. We love you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
