God has made you incredibly special and unique. There has never been nor will there ever be anyone quite like you. There are a lot of tests out there that categorize people into several different personality types. Some of these tests can be helpful, but we need to be extra careful about anything that tries to tell us “who we are.” The Bible has all sorts of things to tell us about who we are, and we can know for sure that they are trustworthy. And it might seem like it isn’t as personalized as a personality test, but it’s actually much more so! There is so much in Scripture that God wants to share with you that is perfectly suited to who you are as an individual in your specific situation.

Bible Verses:

  • Psalm 139:1-4 – No one Knows You Like God Does
  • Genesis 1:26-27 – Made in God’s Image
  • Ephesians 2:10 – God’s Handiwork
  • Colossians 2:3 – Wisdom and Knowledge Found in Christ

Family Time Questions:

  • Are all personality tests always bad?
  • What are some things we should watch out for with personality tests?
  • Does anyone know you better than God?
  • What are some good reasons to read your Bible?

Prayer:

“Dear God, thank You for making me, me. Please help me to learn what you want to teach me about myself and how you want me to live. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
